Honey Marble Brownies (Eggless)

Eggless Brownie Recipe

These yummy brownies make excellent deserts especially when served with vanilla ice-cream.

Ingredients:

200gms condensed milk

130gms flour

2 1/2 tbsp butter

3/4 tsp baking powder

1/3 tsp baking soda

130 ml milk.

1 tbsp cocoa powder

3 tbsp honey

Method:

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.

2. In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients except the honey, almonds, cocoa powder and milk. Beat the mixed ingredients, adding the milk slowly.

3. Divide the beaten mixture in half. Add the cocoa powder to half the mixture.

4. Grease a 8″ x 10″ brownie tin and line the base with parchment paper. Now alternately spoon in the white and brown mixtures. Using a fork, gently mix the two colours. It should look something like this:

5. Roast the almonds.

6. Now place the roasted almonds such that, when cut later, each brownie will have an almond in the centre.

8. Now bake the brownies at 180ºC for 15 mins. Once done, remove from the oven and brush with honey.
