Date Cake

Ingredients:

150 gms. Flour
150 gms Sugar
100 gms Butter
1.5 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 eggs
30 mls caramel syrup
125gms dates
50 gms cashews
Method:
1. Chop the dates and cashews
2. Mix together the flour and baking powder.
3. Roll the chopped dates and cashews in the flour and baking powder mixture.
4. Beat the butter and sugar, add the eggs one at a time while beating continuously.
5. To this mixture, add caramel syrup and beat till incorporated.
6. Add the vanilla essence and then fold in the flour mix.
7. Preheat the oven to 170Deg.C and bake for 30-35 mins.
